Projects

MFRR We are building a multipurpose research reactor MFRR (within the framework of DTTS). Its unique capabilities will allow us to expand the study of two-component nuclear energy technologies and fuel cycle closure, and will also help accelerate and justify the creation of safe fourth-generation nuclear power plants
Tokamak with reactor technologies We are developing technologies for controlled thermonuclear fusion to create a tokamak with reactor technologies (within the framework of DTTS) - a prototype of a future experimental industrial thermonuclear reactor
Plasma rocket engine We are creating a prototype of a plasma rocket engine (within the framework of the DTTS), which will surpass alternative solutions in its characteristics, will allow us to reach a new level of space exploration, carry out interplanetary flights, as well as regular cargo exchange between the Earth and the Moon
New materials and technologies We create new materials and technologies for existing and prospective energy systems, new technologies for the production of industrial and medical nuclides, materials and preparations based on them, as well as related industries with improved characteristics
Biotechnology We are developing a set of innovative devices for bioprinting that will make it possible to make a breakthrough in transplantology – to form living tissues from the patient’s own cells
Europe's largest radiopharmaceutical manufacturing plant We are building a plant in Obninsk that will manufacture products for diagnostics and therapy of oncological, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases. It will operate according to GMP (good manufacturing practice) standards – an international system for monitoring the production of medical products.
Unique medical products Using lasers, we “grow” implants of unique shapes taking into account tomography data, and we develop high-tech equipment for medicine, for example, we are working on a computer tomograph for diagnosing diseases.
