International activity

Our cooperation with foreign colleagues contributes to scientific achievements, the creation of innovations, and promotes the development of energy and industry:

  • organizations of the scientific division participate in international megascience projects: ITER, MBIR and others;
  • at our research nuclear facilities, foreign partners model new reactor designs, test nuclear fuel and materials for nuclear power;
  • the experience, knowledge and experiments of our scientists bring closer the creation of the first thermonuclear reactors, which developed countries are working on;
  • in dozens of countries, radioisotopes and radiopharmaceuticals produced by our enterprises are used for nuclear medicine;
  • foreign organizations turn to us to solve the most complex problems of creating new materials, ultra-pure substances, raw material extraction technologies and waste processing;
  • We produce and supply abroad unique solutions for healthcare, innovative power supplies and equipment for high-tech and knowledge-intensive industries.

In addition to global projects and commercial contracts, we, together with our foreign colleagues, exchange experiences, share our knowledge and update ours by holding international forums and educational events. All our international projects comply with the principles of nuclear safety and nuclear non-proliferation and contribute to strengthening these principles.
