Rosatom's scientific division conducts innovative research, laying the foundation for the scientific and technological potential of the Russian nuclear industry and science for decades to come, creates critically important and science-intensive technologies, develops the production of innovative products and solutions in strategically important areas of industry, ensuring the sovereignty and sustainable development of the Russian economy.
The projects and programs of the scientific division stimulate the development of infrastructure in the cities of presence, the educational sector, create new jobs and contribute to improving the quality of life of citizens.
The construction of research infrastructure for the development of technologies with a closed nuclear fuel cycle, research in the field of thermonuclear fusion and nuclear medicine, the creation of new materials and technologies - all these areas of the scientific division of Rosatom provide Russia with the status of a world leader in the field of nuclear technological solutions.
