In Dimitrovgrad, with the support of Rosatom, an adult outpatient clinic was renovated
In Dimitrovgrad, the city where the Research Institute of Atomic Reactors (JSC SRC RIAR, part of the Scientific Division of the Rosatom State Corporation) is located, the Adult Outpatient Clinic No. 2 has opened its doors after the renovation of the entrance group and the reception area.
The cloakroom has changed, and clear and understandable navigation has appeared. Three operators and an administrator work in the modern open reception area. Now visitors can enjoy a comfortable waiting area with a purifier, ceiling air conditioner and a large information screen with the doctors' work schedule. New furniture has been installed for visitors - comfortable sofas and benches, and the reception staff - chairs, tables and modern office equipment. The clinic has also replaced the flooring, heating system, and installed blinds.
"Medicine is a priority topic for any city. And it is very important that Dimitrovgrad actively participates in the social project to improve the quality and availability of medical care in cities where nuclear industry enterprises are present. Thanks to the initiative of the FMBA, the practices of Rosatom and significant financial support from both parties, the city's healthcare institutions are gradually being transformed. We strive to ensure that a visit to the clinic is comfortable for every visitor receiving medical care. I would like to separately note the working group of this project, their attention to the specific details of each clinic, because this work is ultimately always done for the health of people," said the director of the State Scientific Center RIAR Alexander Tuzov.
"We are grateful to our senior comrades and reliable friends - the state corporation Rosatom and the Research Institute of Atomic Reactors for the great support provided over many years. Let me remind you that in just a few years, with their great help, the Adult Outpatient Clinic No. 1, the first floor of the Adult Outpatient Clinic No. 3 have been modernized in Dimitrovgrad, and the first modern Women's Health Center in the cities where nuclear industry enterprises are present has been opened. A digital health center has started operating at the SRC RIAR site, and the Industrial Medicine Center has been opened after a major overhaul of the industrial outpatient clinic. A lot of modern medical equipment has been delivered. We also remember the significant assistance that the respected nuclear scientists provided to us, medical workers, during the difficult period of the spread of the new coronavirus infection. Now city residents have the opportunity to evaluate the results of large-scale changes in the Adult Outpatient Clinic No. 2. It is pleasant to note that our fruitful cooperation will continue in the future,” concluded the General Director of the Federal Scientific and Clinical Center for Medical Radiology and Oncology of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia Yuri Udalov.
