EPAN pressboard is a composite material based on carbon filler and synthetic binder with mineral additives. It exhibits good chemical resistance in acidic aggressive environments and possesses anti-friction properties. Controlling the filler dispersity (45-200 μm), flowability, and material strength contributes to improving the quality of thin-walled and large-scale products.
Traditionally, it is used for manufacturing impellers of centrifugal pumps that operate with acids and compressor blades. It can be applied in the oil and gas industry, chemical industry, as well as in engineering (in constructions of oil- free compressors).
