Our unique equipment and highly skilled technicians allow us to create:
- Thermal-protective element shells (fuel rod claddings);
- Long-length calibrated tubes and disks;
- Semi-finished products (ingots, blooms, slabs);
- Complex large-scale products;
- Miniature products with high precision according to customer drawings.
The products are manufactured from refractory metal sheets or from self-produced single-crystal blanks.
We possess the technology for producing reaction-bonded silicon carbide (a two-phase structural ceramic material obtained by the reaction sintering method) and products made from it. This material has a virtually shrinkage-free and porous-free structure, is corrosion-resistant, and resistant to the effects of reservoir fluid, perchlorobenzene, carbamide, inorganic acids, and more.
The unique properties of these materials allow for:
- Using the final products in various high-load mechanisms and systems;
- Providing increased mechanical and thermal resistance (protective fire-resistant coatings can withstand temperatures up to 2000°C for short periods).
- Ability to manufacture products of any shape, size, and operating temperature regime
- Ability for long-term use of products in a neutral atmosphere and short-term use in an oxidizing atmosphere
- Enhancement of consumer properties of products through the application of various coatings from this material, including wear-resistant and anti- friction coatings
- Modern scientific and technological infrastructure
