- Materials production and research
- Materials research, materials certification
Materials science research is one of our main areas of expertise. It is conducted to support the development of materials for future nuclear energy applications.
With our experimental facilities and accumulated experience, we are capable of conducting a full range of pre- and post-irradiation experiments, including non-destructive testing, metallographic and spectrometric analysis, gravimetric and hydrostatic measurements (mass, density, porosity), determination of physical and mechanical properties, X-ray structural and phase analysis, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, secondary ion mass spectrometry, and corrosion testing.
- We have a wide range of methodologies and unique expertise in researching various materials for nuclear energy applications
- Our research aims to provide comprehensive information about the properties and conditions of structural, absorber, and fuel materials, as well as lubricants, polymers, and concrete
- We maintain an updated experimental research facility that meets high modern standards for the quality and precision of conducted investigations
- Measurements are performed with the required accuracy, as confirmed by a certificate of measurement conformity
